If you've ever used commercial sheet music or purchased music online, you've
probably noticed that there are often mistakes or omissions in the score.
Probably the best way to enjoy music, regardless of the instrument or genre,
is to play the music you like the way you like.
Our company offers custom-made sheet music creation and MIDI data production
by professionals with advanced absolute pitch and transcription/arrangement
skills.
Transcription is the process of listening to music and writing it down
as sheet msuic. To produce accurate and practical transcriptions, various musical abilities,
techniques, knowledge, and experience, including perfect pitch, are required.
At our company, we thoroughly listen to audio sources such as YouTube,
MP3 files, CDs, MDs, cassette tapes, DVDs, video tapes, and faithfully transcribe the performance of the designated instrument.
The genre of the music or the type of instrument doesn't matter. With the
audio sources you provide to us, we can transcribe any music into a sheet
music by ear. We can even create sheet music for acapella, big bands, wind
ensembles, orchestras, traditional music, etc.
The sheet music we provide will be created using MakeMusic's "Finale 27," the latest version of the world's most advanced music notation
software. If you wish, you can specify preferences such as font and note
size.
We can fulfill a variety of requests, such as:
I want to play a song for which sheet music is not available.
I want detailed and accurate sheet music.
I want to preserve my original song as sheet music.
I want my original song to be arranged stylishly.
I want to play my favorite song as a solo or in a singing and playing style.
I want sheet music for a performance at a concert.
I want the key transposed to make it easier to sing.
I want a solo performance phrase created.
I want handwritten sheet music engraved with music notation software.
I want my existing sheet music corrected.
I want high-quality MIDI data.
I want you to create accompaniment tracks for karaoke.
We can accommodate various requests.
Please entrust us with your sheet music creation (transcription, arrangement,
composition, engraving) and MIDI creation. With 27 years of experience, our company is committed to empowering your
musical pursuits, enabling you to enjoy and engage with music more freely
and actively.
In addition to transcription, which involves writing music exactly as it
sounds in the original source, we also offer custom-made arrangement scores
tailored to your desired instrumentation, performance difficulty, and intended
usage.
Many of you may be unsatisfied with commercial arrangement scores that
do not fully reflect the charm of the original music. Our company takes
great pride in high-quality arrangements that not only achieve a high level
of reproduction and appeal of the original piece but also add a new charm
while maximising the allure of the originals. We provide custom-made arrangement
scores that are one-of-a-kind in the world.
In arranging, accurate listening of the sound source is essential. Therefore,
perfect pitch and music theory are just as important as transcription.
Using absolute pitch and music theory, we faithfully extract the elements
of the original music necessary for arranging, and then transform them
into a new form according to the intended instrumentation, performance
difficulty, and usage of the score.
At our company, we strive to create detailed arrangements that are satisfying
to listen to and perform, taking into account customer requests. Please
utilize our arrangement service for your precious performance opportunities,
such as performances at birthday presents, wedding receptions, live shows,
and competitions!

You can listen to demo performances of our arranged works from the link
below:
[Demo performances of our arranged works (YouTube [Arrangements] Playlist)]
(We have been authorized by our clients to share the music on the channel.)
At our company, we use the latest version of the "Finale" series,
"Finale 27", which is the world standard and the industry's leading
music notation software. We pay meticulous attention to the readability, usability, and notational
consistency of sheet music, including the size of the score, notation font, note spacing, beaming
adjustments, measure placement, and margin width. (We can use all versions
down to Finale2003.) We select and use the most suitable font from the
various fonts adopted in Finale 27 for each piece of music.
For those who request the transcription and arrangement of multiple parts,
in addition to the full score, we can create part scores (sheet music for
each instrument) for JPY 1,000 (tax included) per part.
You can freely specify the parts for which you want part scores to be created
from the parts you request. We can also create a part score that combines
multiple parts into one.
We accept various sources for estimation including MP3 files, WAV files,
other audio file types, video sharing sites like YouTube, and physical
formats like audio CDs, cassette tapes, DVDs, and videotapes. You can send
your audio files via our dedicated 'Media File Submission Form' or by email attachment.
We offer a variety of delivery methods for sheet music. You can choose
from PDF files sent by email attachment or Dropbox, or physical sheet music
sent by mail. We offer a variety of sheet sizes including A4, B4, A3, B5,
and letter size. If you wish, you can also specify the layout and size
of the staves, the text font for the song title, etc.
Our PDF sheet music can be viewed on PCs, smartphones, tablets, e-readers,
and other devices. You can also print them at home with your printer. Our
PDF files are created with Adobe's "Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro".
For printed sheet music, we use high-quality business printers and ink
with excellent water and light resistance. We use thick paper with excellent
water resistance, which is sturdy and difficult to bend. Even if you write
on it with a highlighter, or accidentally spill water on it, the sheet
will not blur. (For letter size, we use regular paper.)
For the delivery of printed sheet music, you can choose from several shipping
methods. For destinations outside of Japan, options include EMS or airmail.
For destinations within Japan, you can select from Letter Pack Light, Letter
Pack Plus, or Yamato TA-Q-BIN.
For those who request sheet music creation, we provide original data files
(MUSX files, MUS files) created using our sheet music creation software,
"Finale", files extracting note information from the sheet music
(Standard MIDI files), and MusicXML format data files which allow data
sharing across various sheet music creation software, all free of charge.
Furthermore, to enable you to check the contents of the sheet music by
sound, we also create and provide MIDI performance recordings of the sheet
music (such as MP3 files) free of charge.
Finale files are the files of Makemusic's sheet music creation software "Finale".
These files allow you to display the sheet music in the exact state as provided, and you can customize the sheet music according to your preference by
changing the display magnification, font, adding lyrics, chord names, expression
marks, creating part scores, and more. The playback speed can also be changed
freely, offering usage methods such as slowing down the tempo for practice.
You can also mute any part to enjoy a minus one karaoke, and even save
the file as a MIDI file or audio file.
If you wish for a Finale file, please specify the file format and version
you desire (either MUSX files (Finale 27, Finale 26, Finale 25, Finale
2014) or MUS files (Finale 2012~Finale 2003)). Please note that MUS files
cannot be opened with versions of Finale older than the version in which
the file was created. If you have Finale, please specify the file according
to your version. On the other hand, MUSX files can be opened with any version
of Finale. As of June 2024, the latest version of Finale that can be used
with Finale NotePad is Finale 2012.
The Standard MIDI File (SMF) is a sheet music data file format that can be used with sheet music creation
software and sequencers. Based on the provided Standard MIDI file, you
can modify it to suit your needs, such as changing the tempo, velocity
(volume), channel, program change information (tone), panning, adding pitch
bend and sustain pedal, transposing, adding/deleting parts, adding/deleting
measures, and save it as a new Standard MIDI file. If you need professional
MIDI data for live performances or DTM, it would be efficient to use our
free MIDI file as a foundation. It is also possible to specify the MIDI
channel you wish to use.
The MIDI data is completely quantized (rhythm and note value correction)
and we ensure there are no display issues with multiple software before
providing it. Therefore, with any MIDI data compatible sheet music creation
software or sequencer, you can display the sheet music in basically the
same content as provided. (However, song titles, clef signs, octave signs,
and slides are not reflected.)
You can also listen to a demo performance of the sheet music on your computer or smartphone.
If you wish, in addition to the regular MIDI files, we can provide MIDI
files with a slower tempo for practice or karaoke MIDI files with any part
from your requested part removed. (Please order when applying.)
The MIDI data we provide can be made public on your SNS or website, as
long as the necessary copyright-related procedures are completed in advance.
MusicXML files are files in a format that allows data sharing between different sheet
music creation software. In addition to Finale, which we use, they can
also be displayed in other sheet music creation software such as Sibelius.
Unlike Standard MIDI files, MusicXML files retain almost all of the original
sheet music layout. (However, due to the characteristics of the format,
slight discrepancies may occur.)
Demo (MIDI) performance recordings are audio sources recorded from the MIDI data generated during sheet music
creation. You can choose the media from MP3 files, music CDs, and more.
For these audio sources, we use "GARRITAN PERSONAL ORCHESTRA",
"SmartMusic SoftSynth" or "Microsoft GS Wavetable SW Synth"
with VST of "Finale 27" and apply effects like reverb as appropriate
depending on the characteristics of the music. (We will select the most
suitable sound source depending on the performance content.)
If desired, in addition to the regular free demo performance sources, we
also provide slow-tempo performance sources. (These are available for each
source at JPY500 (tax included).)
Furthermore, if you request the part score option, we also provide the
part score's Finale file, Standard MIDI file, MusicXML file, and Demo (MIDI)
performance recording for free.
In addition, we can create MIDI data and MIDI performance recordings (Paid
Version MIDI) intended for uses such as DTM and live performances. With
Paid Version MIDI, we adjust the tone, volume, note value, panning, rhythm,
tempo, etc., maximizing the expressive power of MIDI and finishing it with
more appealing content. For details on Paid Version MIDI, please see here.

fee of 3.2% of the total payment amount at the time of the contract plus
JPY 40 from the refund.
It is also possible to cancel only some songs or parts of the sheet music
you applied for. In that case, we will recalculate the total amount for
the revised quotation, and we will settle the payment with the amount you
have already paid.
To provide our clients with peace of mind, we have implemented a delivery
guarantee system. In the unlikely event that we are unable to complete
your order within the completion date stipulated at the time of contract,
you can choose either to cancel the contract, in which case we will refund
the full amount paid plus 10% as a penalty, or to continue the contract
with a 10% reduction in price. If you choose to cancel the contract, please
notify us after the expiration of the completion date. If the notice of
contract cancellation from the customer to our company and the notice of
production completion from our company to the customer are crossed, we
will proceed with the delivery at a 10% reduction. We will process the
refund within one week of the contract cancellation date or delivery date.
In the event that we are unable to provide the sheet music due to unforeseen
circumstances such as natural disasters, we will make the contract null
and void and refund the full fee. If we are unable to fulfill the contract
due to reasons attributable to us, such as equipment failure, we will refund
the full fee and pay a penalty of 10% of the fee.
We strive for perfection in the content of the sheet music we provide,
but in the unlikely event that there are defects such as missing pages,
typographical errors, or damages, please contact us within five years from
the completion date, and we will promptly send you a new product free of
charge with our postage paid. If you find any errors in the transcription
within five years from the completion date, please let us know the specific
location, and we will promptly recheck the contents of the score and create
a corrected score for you free of charge if necessary.
By adding an Extra License to your contract, you will be able to use and publish the sheet music commercially, including for publication, sales, distribution, and streaming, etc.
You can still use the sheet music for non-commercial (personal) purposes
without adding an Extra License.
An Extra License is required only when using the sheet music commercially
or publishing it.
You can add an Extra License at the time of ordering sheet music production
or after the sheet music is completed.
Please note that when using sheet music for commercial purposes for music
that you do not hold the copyright to, you will also need to obtain permission
from the rights holder(s) (such as the composer or arranger). Additionally,
when using sheet music that was engraved from a pre-existing source, you
will need permission from the rights holder of the original source in addition
to the rights holder of the music. If you use the sheet music commercially
or publish it without an extra license, we will charge you a penalty fee.
Please refer to the QandA page below for more information on publishing
sheet music.

We transcribe accurately from any audio sources you provide such as YouTube
videos, MP3 files, and music CDs, for the instrument of your choice. You
can customize the transcription service as per your requirement.
[Partial transcription]
You can specify the range of transcription. When requesting a quote, please
indicate the relevant parts of the source using time codes (seconds), such
as "00:30-01:30".
[Simplification/Complexification]
If you wish, we can also create sheet music that simplifies or complicates
the performance based on the transcribed source, depending on your desired
difficulty level.
Please note, transcriptions involving simplification or complexification
may slightly increase or decrease the usual transcription fee due to the
added elements of arrangement and the reduced importance of detailed source
analysis and performance consistency. If you wish for simplification/complexification,
we will provide quotes for both cases.
[Transposition]
We can also transpose the music to your desired key.
Examples:
- Half-step up
- Lower by a major third
- In a key that is closer to the original and easier to play
- In a key that is optimal for a male vocalist to sing a song originally
performed by a female vocalist
- In a key that does not include the altissimo range when substituting
tenor saxophone for an alto saxophone solo
[Setting notation method for Transposing Instruments]
For transposing instruments (clarinets, saxophones, trumpets, horns, etc.),
we typically use each instrument's unique transposing notation. However,
if you plan to play on a piano or a guitar etc., it's more practical to
use the concert pitch (in C) notation. If you wish, we can notate the transposing
instruments in concert pitch (in C). Also, for guitar, bass, male vocals,
etc., we usually write one octave higher, and for piccolo, one octave lower,
but if you wish, we can notate in the actual pitch.
Please be assured that the free Finale files, MusicXML files, Standard
MIDI files, and Demo (MIDI) performance recordings we provide will be played
in actual pitch, regardless of the transposing notation.
[Consolidated transcription]
We can also transcribe multiple parts into a fewer number of parts. We
extract necessary elements from the performance elements of the target
parts and adjust them appropriately under your specified conditions. Please
note, consolidated transcriptions may involve some elements of arrangement
and may slightly increase the usual transcription fee.
Examples:
- Making twin guitar parts playable on one guitar
- Making the performance of two keyboards playable on one
- Transcribing a horn section's performance into a keyboard part on a grand
staff
[Adjustments for performance on different instruments]
Based on the transcribed source, we can adjust and notate so that it can
be properly performed on a different instrument of your choice. This involves
partial or overall adjustments according to the range and characteristics
of the instrument. This may result in slightly higher fees than usual transcriptions.
Examples:
- Transcribing violin to flute
- Alto saxophone to tenor saxophone
- 5-string bass to 4-string bass
[Pedal Marks]
For piano or keyboard sheet music, we can optionally add pedal markings.
These marks indicate when to press and release the damper (sustain) pedal.
If you don't choose to include these pedal markings for scores where pedals
are used in the performance, the sheet music we provide will be notated
with the assumption of appropriate pedal usage. In compositions where delicate chord progressions are frequently used,
correct pedal operation becomes extremely crucial for the performance.
Therefore, we particularly recommend this option when you request a transcription
of such music.
[Note name ruby, Finger Numbering]
As an option, we can add note name ruby to the musical notes on the sheet,
such as "C", "D", "E", or "Do",
"Re", "Mi", and finger numbers 1-5 for piano scores
and similar instruments.
Note name ruby is recommended for those practicing sight-reading or with
limited time before the actual performance.
Finger numbers indicate which finger to use to play each note on piano,
organ, or keyboard scores. This service is recommended for those who want
to master the correct fingering.
[Tablature, Performance notation symbols]
For guitar, bass, and similar instruments, we can provide tablature (TAB)
notation alongside standard staff notation. Our tabs are detailed and accurate,
based on thorough analysis. We also notate unusual tunings and capo placements
based on the performance in the audio source.
We also provide performance notation symbols, including the following as
standard (free):
glissando, vibrato, arpeggio, staccato, trill, pick scratch, mute, etc.
The following performance otation symbols are available as optional extras
for a fee:
slide, choking, bend, hammer-on, pull-off, arm, right-hand tapping, harmonics,
etc.
[Chord names (Chord Symbols)]
We can also add chord names as an option. We can place chord names above
the topmost staff of the score. If requested, we can place them above other
staves or on multiple staves (e.g., both above the top staff and above
the guitar part).
For transposing instruments, you can freely choose the combination of key
signature for the staff and the key for the chord symbols.
Example for Tenor Saxophone Score:
- Staff: In B♭, Chord names: Concert key (in C)
- Staff: In B♭, Chord names: In B♭
- Staff: Concert key (in C), Chord name: Concert key (in C)
You can specify the level of detail for the chord names at three levels:
'high', 'medium', and 'low'. Additionally, you can choose whether the chord
names are transcribed for 'all parts' or 'specific parts'.
[Lyrics]
We can also incorporate lyrics into the sheet music. We support a variety
of languages including Japanese, English, Italian, French, German, Chinese
(both Simplified and Traditional), Korean (Hangul), Hawaiian, and Latin.
For languages like English, we ensure accurate syllable division.
If you wish to include lyrics, please provide the lyric data. We will input
the lyrics in accordance with the provided data. Please note that if there
is any discrepancy between the actual sung lyrics and the provided data,
we will use the content from the provided lyric data.

We create accurate chord scores based on the audio sources you provide,
such as YouTube videos, MP3 files, and CDs. We can handle any genre of
music including pop, rock, and classical. We can also include lyrics, diagrams,
and Roman numeral analysis (I, II, IV, V, etc.) as an option.
We will thoroughly describe all tension notes and fractional chords. As
chord names can be expressed in various ways, especially when they become
complex, we carefully balance their use based on your purpose, readability,
and harmony theory.
[Level of detaill setting]
You can specify the level of detail for the chord names in three stages:
[low, medium, high]. Our standard is [high], where we provide detailed
chord names that accurately reflect the fine tension notes of the sound
source. However, if you do not need detailed tension notes, or if you are
more accustomed to simplified scores than detailed ones, we recommend that
you specify [medium] or [low].
For the [medium] level of detail, we slightly simplify complex and inconsistent
chord names. For instance, in a song where 'C9' and 'C add9' irregularly
appear at the same positions in the cadence, we unify the notation to the
chord name used most frequently. Also, in a situation where 'Am7' is used
but the E note is missing only once, resulting in the notation 'Am7 (omit5)',
if it is clear that the E note is not intentionally omitted, we will simply
denote this as 'Am7'. In addition, extremely complex chord names like 'A13(♯11)'
will be simplified by omitting the least significant note, resulting in
something like 'A13' or 'A9(♯11)'.
For the [low] level of detail, we further simplify complex chord names
and only use basic chord names such as 'C7', 'C9', 'C add9', 'C sus4',
'C dim', 'C aug', 'Cm7', etc.
[Target of transcription setting]
You can specify whether to transcribe chord names for "all parts"
or "specific parts". Normally, chord names are transcribed for
all parts, but if you prefer, we can analyze and transcribe chord names
limited to specific parts (instruments).
For example, in a typical band arrangement where the keyboard and guitar
play "C major" and the bass plays a D note, the chord name for
the entire piece would be "C/D". However, if you specify that
only the keyboard or guitar should be transcribed, the chord name for that
section will be transcribed as "C".
[Lyrics]
Lyrics can also be included as an option. If you would like to include
lyrics, please provide us with the data for the lyrics.

entire performance from the beginning to the end of the sound source. However,
we also accept requests for partial arrangement of a specific section of
the sound source. If you want a partial arrangement, please specify the
relevant part with the time code (seconds) of the audio source, like "01:00~03:30".
[Transposition]
We can transpose to your desired key. Some examples include:
- Transpose down by half step
- Transpose up by a major second
- Transpose to a key closer to the original, but easier to play

●Paid Version MIDI (creating high-quality MIDI data for DTM/DAW, and creating
High-quality MIDI performance recording sound sources for playback and
listening)
We will faithfully reproduce your desired music piece in MIDI format, utilizing
the full expressive power of MIDI to reflect the sound, volume, pitch,
panning, rhythm, tempo, etc. The MIDI sound source will be created using
Roland INTEGRA-7, Roland SC-88 Pro, and Garritan Instruments for Finale.
This service is recommended for those who use DTM/DAW, those who want accompaniment
karaoke tracks, those who want MIDI playback that sounds natural like a
human performance, those who want to try playing original songs with a
large orchestra, those who want to create MIDI tracks for live performances,
and those who want to check the contents of their music score by sound.
Paid Version MIDI sample music (YouTube)
(The music posted have received permission to publish from the clients.)
This "Paid Version MIDI" service is available as a package with
"Transcription," "Arrangement," or "Music Engraving."

In addition, we can also reproduce music piece with large orchestras in
"Paid Version MIDI".
Note that there are two types of Paid Version MIDI: [Type A] and [Type
B]. In most cases, we recommend [Type A]. In [A type], we set the tone
and volume to be the same as the original source, and enhance the fidelity
of the original composition by adding pedal, pitch bend, and modulation
effects using control numbers. We also set the tempo to match the original
source, resulting in a content and quality that can be used as is for many
purposes.
On the other hand, for those who want to maximize the potential of MIDI
or seek ultimate reproducibility, we recommend the [B type]. With [B type],
by setting NRPN, we allocate independent effect parameters to each sound
source and channel to precisely configure the timbre and effects. For a
quote with [B type], we require information on the MIDI equipment and software
used, as well as a MIDI implementation chart, so please prepare accordingly.

●Composition
We can create music in various genres. In addition to composing an entire
piece, we also offer services for adding accompaniment to a hummed or monophonic
melody line, and creating intros, bridges, endings, and interludes.
●Music englaving and transposition
We offer music engraving services using the world's leading music notation
software, Finale, to create clean scores from handwritten music or commercial
sheet music. You can specify any version of Finale from "Finale 2003"
to "Finale 27". (if no version is specified, we will use the
latest version, "Finale 27").
We also offer services for converting neume notation (four-line staff),
numeric notation into standard five-line staff notation.
If desired, we can provide the Finale file, MusicXML file, standard MIDI
file, and demo (MIDI) performance recording (MP3 file, music CD, etc.)
for free.

Transposition is available for an additional charge of JPY 1,000 to JPY
1,500 (tax included) per music piece. It may be easier to play a song in
a key with fewer sharps or flats. We recommend transposing to keys such
as C major/A minor, G major/E minor (one sharp), or F major/D minor (one
flat) for those who struggle with music in keys with many accidentals,
or who simply want to make playing a little easier. For example, E major
(six sharps) can be transposed to C major (no accidentals).
We also offer additional part score creation for JPY 1,000 (tax included)
per part.
●Verification and correction of existing music scores
We will verify if there are any transcribing or notation errors in your
owned scores and correct them to the appropriate content.
●Comparison of performance and sheet music, and performance advice
Please send us your recorded audio/video data of your own performance,
and we will check if it is played correctly according to the sheet music,
and provide advice on your performance.
●Audio data correction
We will improve the sound quality of your audio data by removing noise,
equalizer processing, adding effects such as reverb, and other methods.
●Analog audio/video digitization
We will digitize analog audio/video such as cassette tapes, vinyl records,
and video tapes, and record them as music CDs, DVDs, or audio/video files.
We will also perform noise reduction and other sound quality improvement
measures.
